What Is Trident Sort?
Trident Sort uses AI to automatically categorize your incoming emails into meaningful groups. Instead of a single overwhelming inbox, you get organized folders that let you prioritize what matters.
The Categories
TridentInbox uses military-inspired category names:
- Mission Critical: Important emails from key contacts that require your attention
- Awaiting Orders: Emails that need a response from you
- Intel Briefs: Newsletters and informational content
- Comms: Social media notifications and community updates
- Incoming Fire: Promotional emails, marketing, and sales pitches
- Unclassified: Emails that don't fit neatly into other categories
How It Works
Customization
- Re-categorize: If AI miscategorizes an email, you can manually reassign it. The system learns from your corrections.
- Priority Override: Mark any email as Mission Critical regardless of its auto-assigned category
- Category Views: Each category has its own view with relevant sorting options
Smart Folders
Smart Folders are the visual representation of Trident Sort categories. Each folder shows:
- Total email count
- Unread count
- Latest email preview
- Quick-action buttons for bulk operations
Tips for Best Results
- Let the AI process at least 100 emails before judging accuracy — it improves with volume
- Manually correct miscategorizations to train the system
- Use category filters in Mission Control for focused email processing sessions
