What Is Teams?

Teams lets you create workspaces where multiple TridentInbox users can collaborate. Share cleanup rules, email templates, and best practices across your organization.

Creating a Team

  • Navigate to Teams from the sidebar
  • Click "Create Team"
  • Enter a team name and optional description
  • Your team is created and you're automatically the owner
  • Inviting Members

  • Open your team
  • Click "Invite Member"
  • Enter the member's email address
  • Choose their role: Admin or Member
  • They'll receive an invitation to join
  • Roles

    • Owner: Full control including deleting the team. One owner per team.
    • Admin: Can invite/remove members, manage shared resources, and edit team settings.
    • Member: Can view and adopt shared rules and templates.

    Shared Resources

    Shared Rules

    Team admins can create cleanup rules that are shared with all members. Members can adopt these rules into their personal Patrol configuration. This ensures consistent email hygiene across the organization.

    Shared Templates

    Team admins can share email templates that all members can use in Trident Scribe. This maintains consistent communication quality and saves time on common email types.
